SAFETY ALERT – POTENTIAL FLASH FLOODING
There has been flash flooding recorded in the south coast and potential for more flash flooding today.
BOM advice is: Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce intense rainfall that may lead to dangerous and life-threatening flash flooding over the next several hours in parts of the Metropolitan and Illawarra districts. Locations which may be affected include Sydney, Parramatta, Wollongong, Campbelltown, Kiama and Huskisson. Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding over the next several hours in parts of the Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, South West Slopes and Central West Slopes and Plains districts.
